Overall, I believe that the Center for Everyday Leadership provides a means of engaging students to the extent that they wish to be engaged. It was refreshing to see the students who chose to immerse themselves in the Bonus activities. These were the students who gained the most from the course. In contrast, students who chose to exhibit minimal effort received due payment. I challenged my students to make connections with the topic of study and determine how to apply this knowledge in their daily lives. Lastly, the most meaningful impact upon the students was how Doc connected with each of the students personally. They appreciated that Doc answered their emails and corresponded with them weekly. I strongly believe that the Center for Everyday Leadership allows students to see how leadership skills can be applied by EVERYONE, no matter what career path they choose for themselves

I have learned so much from this course. Each of the modules has helped me to know where to start leading. The word I chose was CHANGE. I will change to be more like Christ as a leader. This Course has shown so much that I see myself as a leader. I want my firneds to be great leaders as well. God has so much planned for them. When I was taking this course, I thought of something else, too. God never stops working. I should never stop working for the goo and in others. I want to see everyone be even more successful than me.
Doing this course and assignments has made me think "outside of the box". I think some people, including myself, are comfortable staying where they are at. I before did not want to take the time to grow not just in my everyday life, but also in my relationship with God. Growing and learning are what help develop essential life skills. Each skill learned in this course was an essential part of the other. So, without each one doing its job, none of the growth I have experienced over this time would be possible. I have done things I never thought I would have done because of these assignments and this course, and the beneficial feedback from Doc! They have helped me become so much better and more mature than I was before and have completely shifted my mindset. It is a blessing to have been a part of this course and it has made for a huge growth opportunity in my life.
